A year of Grant

 My baby boy and his boy both have February birthdays.

 Hard to believe this little ball of energy has been with us for over a year now, love him and his sister so much.

 We had such a good time at his birthday party.

And my Dad and Mom.

 We got to meet Grant minutes after he was born.

 He is such a happy little boy. I couldn't resist using him for this Under the Ocean Challenge.

I put this together for a Favorite City Challenge. Bo and I spent some time here on our anniversary a few years ago. Old Town became our Home away from Home when Bo was working there. We went to Julian on my birthday and played in the Snow. I always have a great time there. ~Sandra

 I made this page for a Scrapbook Challenge. Olivia loves to sing and already knows her ABCs.

 Another page I made for a Challenge. Peter Rabbit is one of my favorite books, so I was thrilled to find this Peter Rabbit themed kit. I created the background paper.

 I also created the ducks and butterflies as part of the challenge.

 And then added the word art. It was a Progressive Challenge so we did it in stages.

 We were doing Line Contours for this Challenge. It turned out interesting. Pictured is Cousin Laverne, with Aunt Frances and Aunt Jewel.

 Olivia helped me with my Paper Cutouts.

And this turned into a nice Sketch of myself. ~Alasandra

Mother's Day and Graduation

 Hazel Jackson is thrilled to be a Great Grandmother. And Baby Grant looks enchanted with her.

 I love this picture as it has 3 generations of Mother's. Katie Carter Alawine, Sandra Alawine (me) and Hazel Jackson. With Olivia and Grant Alawine and Great Grandpa Wayne Jackson.

 Sean got his Masters degree. I am very proud of my Baby Boy.

 Sean was very touched that his Grandmother Jeanette Alawine, Cousin Noah, and Grandma Hazel and Grandpa Wayne came to celebrate his day.

 And it meant a lot to him and to me that Jonathan Alawine and his family came to share the day.

 I was learning how to do half tone, in this picture I finally nailed it.

 But my practice pictures created some interesting effects.

This I was learning to do coming out of teh frame. It does ook as if she is fixing to crawl right out of the picture.

We meet Jonathan, Katie and Olivia at the Fair last year, it was a lot of fun.

March 25th 2018

 Grant was baptized March 25th, 2018 at  Safe Harbor United Methodist Church, in Moss Point, MS. He got to enjoy some quality time with his Great Grandmother Jeanette Alawine and his Great Grandpa Wayne Jackson and Great Grandma Hazel Jackson during the service. 
 

 Grandma Sandra Alawine and Grandpa Bo Alawine are thrilled with the bouncing boy. These pictures were taken right after he was born. He decided to make a really fast entry.

And of course we cherish him. Grant is wearing the same outfit Jonathan wore for his baptism.

 We had a blast with Olivia at the Jackson County Fair.

 She actually got to pet the rabbit.

 The gender reveal party was lots of fun.

 And Olivia turned 2 December 9th, 2017.

 We had a small party for her here at our house.

 Then she had a bigger party with her friends a few days after her birthday.

 I made these pages for a scrapbook challenge and thought they turned out OK.
